VTech
VTech Holdings Limited, commonly known as VTech, is a Hong Kong-based multinational electronics company and toy maker. It designs, develops, and manufactures consumer electronics and electronic learning products for global markets. The company was founded in 1976 as Video Technology Limited by Allan Wong and colleagues and later adopted the VTech name as it expanded into telecommunications devices and educational toys. It operates through subsidiaries worldwide and markets products under the VTech and LeapFrog brands. LeapFrog Enterprises was acquired by VTech in the early 2010s and serves as its educational products division in North America.
