VNmissies
VNmissies is a term used in Dutch-language media to describe organized volunteer missions to Vietnam, usually undertaken by student groups, faith-based organizations, and non-governmental organizations. The name combines VN for Vietnam with missies, the Dutch word for missions. In practice, VNmissies designate short-term, field-based projects that blend humanitarian aid with cultural exchange and local capacity building. Typical activities include construction or renovation of community facilities, distribution of donated goods, basic health education, language or IT tutoring, and collaboration with local schools or clinics. Projects are planned in advance with partner organizations in Vietnam and are supported by fundraising campaigns.
