Unterkiefermolaren, also known as lower molar teeth, are a type of permanent tooth found in the posterior region of the lower jaw. They are the last teeth to erupt in the mouth, typically appearing between the ages of 17 and 25. There are four unterkiefermolaren in each quadrant of the lower jaw, making a total of 12 in the entire mouth.
