Underspændinger
Underspændinger, also known as undervoltages, refer to a decrease in the electrical potential difference across a component or system below its intended or nominal operating level. This phenomenon can occur in various electrical and electronic contexts, from power grids to individual electronic devices. In a power distribution system, an underspænding might manifest as a voltage drop on the supply lines, leading to reduced performance or malfunction of connected appliances. This can be caused by factors such as high load on the network, faults in the transmission or distribution infrastructure, or issues with the power generation source.
For electronic devices, underspændinger can be particularly problematic as they often operate within specific voltage tolerances.
