Ulosottomiehet
Ulosottomiehet, or enforcement officers, are public officials in Finland whose primary task is to implement court decisions and other enforceable claims. They work within the state’s enforcement system to secure payment and ensure compliance with judgments and administrative rulings. Their duties include wage garnishment, attachment and sale of debtor assets, and other measures designed to obtain payment or enforce orders. They may also serve documents, provide information to debtors, and coordinate with other authorities when necessary.
