Uldists are followers of a spiritual tradition centered on the uld, an ancient generative force said to bind life, memory, and landscape. They describe Uldism as a path of attentive living rather than a fixed creed, stressing humility before time, reverence for ancestors, and the interconnectedness of all beings. The movement encompasses diverse practices and interpretations rather than a single dogma.

Origins and spread: Uldism emerged in Verdorn borderlands in the late medieval period, attributed to Ulara the Quiet and a circle of artisans and herders. It developed as a loose network, expanding along trade routes and rural communities. In modern times, reformist currents have created distinct subcultures within the movement.
