Tørkeren
Tørkeren is a term commonly used in Scandinavian languages, particularly Norwegian and Danish, to refer to a device for drying clothes. This appliance, known as a clothes dryer in English, serves the purpose of removing moisture from laundry after it has been washed. Tørkeren typically operates by tumbling the wet clothes in a heated drum, with air circulated through the drum to evaporate the water.
There are several types of tørkeren. The most common are vented dryers, which expel moist air outside
The use of a tørkeren can significantly reduce the time it takes for clothes to dry compared
