Törpehörcsögök, also known as dwarf hamsters, are a group of small rodent species popular as pets. These tiny creatures are native to various arid and semi-arid regions of Eurasia and North Africa. The most common species kept as pets include the Winter White Russian dwarf hamster (Phodopus sungorus), Campbell's dwarf hamster (Phodopus campbelli), and the Roborovski dwarf hamster (Phodopus roborovskii). Chinese dwarf hamsters (Cricetulus griseus) are also sometimes kept, though they have a slightly different classification.
