Tuulivoimatuulipyörän
Tuulivoimatuulipyörän, often shortened to simply tuulipyörä in Finnish, refers to a wind turbine. These are devices that convert the kinetic energy of wind into electrical energy. A typical wind turbine consists of a tower, a rotor with blades, and a nacelle housing the generator and other mechanical components. As wind blows, it causes the rotor blades to spin, which in turn drives a generator to produce electricity.
The size and design of wind turbines vary greatly depending on their intended application, from small turbines
Wind turbines can be installed on land (onshore) or in bodies of water (offshore). Offshore wind farms
