Tripterygion is a genus of small marine fish in the family Tripterygiidae, commonly known as triplefins. Members of this genus are part of the diverse group of threefin blennies that inhabit temperate coastal waters.

Geographic distribution and habitat

They favor rocky substrates and kelp-rich environments, often using crevices, holes, and nooks for shelter.
