Triglyceridek

Diet contributes triglycerides directly through fats and oils; digestion uses pancreatic enzymes to produce monoacylglycerol and free fatty acids, absorbed by enterocytes and repackaged into chylomicrons.

Health considerations: High plasma triglyceride levels are linked with metabolic disorders and increased cardiovascular risk, though risk depends on context and other factors. Measurement is part of lipid panels; management includes weight reduction, physical activity, and sometimes medications.
