Trendanalízis

Trendanalízis is a method used to examine and forecast future values based on historical data. It involves identifying patterns and directional movements within a series of data points over time. The core idea is that past behavior can provide insights into future behavior, assuming underlying conditions remain relatively stable.

The process typically begins with collecting and organizing historical data. This data is then visualized, often on a graph, to make trends more apparent. Analysts look for upward, downward, or sideways movements, as well as cyclical or seasonal patterns. Various statistical techniques can be employed to quantify these trends and their strength.
