Transomfästen

Transomfästen are hardware components designed to secure a transom, a crosspiece or panel that is set either in a door and window assembly or at the stern of a vessel, to the surrounding structure. The term is commonly used in carpentry, architectural detailing and boat building to describe fittings that ensure the transom remains properly aligned and supported.
