Trafikprofiler refers to the systematic collection and analysis of traffic data to describe how traffic moves within a region or network and to forecast future conditions. The term is used in both transport planning and data analytics to translate observations into actionable insights for policy, operations, and investment. In road networks, trafikprofiler typically aims to identify peak periods, bottlenecks, and capacity needs; in digital networks it refers to profiling data flows to manage bandwidth and security.
