Tidsuppskattningen, often translated as time estimation, is a fundamental concept in project management and personal productivity. It refers to the process of forecasting the amount of time required to complete a task or a project. Accurate time estimation is crucial for effective planning, resource allocation, and setting realistic deadlines.

Various methods exist for tidsuppskattningen. One common approach is analogous estimation, which relies on historical data from similar past projects. Parametric estimation uses statistical relationships between historical data and other variables, such as cost or duration.
