Thembu
Thembu are a Bantu-speaking ethnic group in southern Africa, primarily inhabiting the Eastern Cape region of South Africa. They form part of the broader Xhosa-speaking population and speak Thembu Xhosa, a dialect of Xhosa. Their traditional homeland is Thembuland, a region in the eastern part of the Eastern Cape that includes areas around towns such as Ngcobo and Dutywa.
