Hintsas is a municipality located in the Järva County of Estonia. It is situated near the capital city Tallinn and comprises a number of villages, with its administrative center being first level unit at Hintsa. The municipality covers an area of 170 square kilometers. As of 2017, the population of Hintsas is approximately 473 people.
