Tematisert is a Norwegian adjective meaning organized, presented, or developed around a central theme or themes. The term is formed from tema ("theme") and the suffix -isert, indicating a process or state. In practice tematisering refers to the method or result of organizing content by topics rather than by discrete units such as dates, authors, or genres. The concept is widely used in education, museums, media, and information management.

In education, tematisert teaching or tematisert undervisning places the curriculum around overarching themes that connect multiple subjects, enabling interdisciplinary learning and deeper engagement with central questions. A tematisert curriculum might cover a theme like "energy and sustainability" across science, mathematics, language, and social studies, rather than teaching subjects in isolation.

In museums and cultural institutions, tematiserte utstillinger or thematisering of exhibitions organize artifacts and interpretive text around a unifying theme, creating coherent visitor experiences and narrative arcs.
