Teilresektionen, a German term translating to partial resection, refers to the surgical removal of a portion of an organ or tissue. This is in contrast to a complete resection, where the entire organ or affected area is removed. Partial resections are commonly performed for a variety of medical conditions, including cancerous tumors, benign growths, and damaged or diseased tissue.
