Sülitamise

Sülitamise is a term used in Estonian to describe the act of spitting. It is a common human behavior that involves expelling saliva from the mouth. In Estonian culture, sülitamise can carry various connotations, ranging from a casual bodily function to a sign of disrespect or disgust.

Historically, spitting was a more prevalent practice in public spaces. However, with increasing urbanization and a greater emphasis on public hygiene, societal norms have shifted.
