These sensors collaboratively collect data and communicate it to a central location for processing and analysis. A sensor network typically comprises nodes, each equipped with sensing capabilities, a processing unit, memory, and a communication module. These nodes are often deployed in large numbers, forming a decentralized and ad-hoc network where they can self-organize and self-heal.
