Subalansavimas
Subalansavimas is the Lithuanian term for balancing, a process used in mechanical engineering to ensure that a rotating body, such as a wheel or shaft, has a uniform mass distribution across its axis of rotation. The primary goal of subalansavimas is to minimize vibrations that arise when unequal mass distribution causes a rotating part to experience periodic changes in centrifugal forces. Excess vibration can lead to discomfort in the operating environment, accelerated wear of bearings, and eventual failure of the rotating component.
The balancing procedure generally begins with a measurement step. A rotating body is mounted on a balance
Adding counterweights is the corrective phase. Counterweights are typically applied by applying adhesive weights or drilling
Subalansavimas is applied across a range of settings: automotive service centers for tire Balancing, heavy equipment
