Stressipäänsärky, also known as tension-type headache, is the most common form of primary headache. It is characterized by a dull, aching pain that is often described as a band tightening around the head. Treatment typically involves over-the-counter pain relievers, such as ibuprofen or acetaminophen, for episodic headaches. Stress management techniques, such as relaxation exercises, mindfulness, and regular physical activity, are also crucial in preventing and managing stress headaches.
