Strengmåling
Strengmåling, often translated as string measurement or strain gauging, is a technique used to determine the deformation or strain of an object. This is typically achieved by attaching a sensing device, known as a strain gauge, to the surface of the material being studied. The strain gauge is a resistive element whose electrical resistance changes proportionally to the amount of strain it experiences. When the object deforms, the strain gauge deforms with it. This deformation alters the length and cross-sectional area of the resistive element, thereby changing its electrical resistance.
