Streeplabels

Streeplabels is a term used in retail and logistics to describe a class of small, adhesive labels used for price marking and product identification in street-level commerce. They are designed to be inexpensive, easy to produce with common printers, and legible under bright daylight or variable weather. Most streeplabels are printed on paper or gloss vinyl and come in sheets or rolls for quick application on a wide range of surfaces, including plastic tags, cardboard, metal displays, or fabric garments.

A typical streeplabel carries essential information such as product name, price, a short description, and a barcode or QR code for inventory or point-of-sale systems. Some variants include additional fields like stock-keeping unit (SKU), size, color, or expiration date. Materials range from low-cost paper with a protective coating to weather-resistant vinyl, with adhesives rated for indoor and outdoor use.
