Stongde

Stongde is a fictional town and commune in the northern region of the imaginary nation of Valoria. It sits in the Stongde Valley along the Stongde River, about 60 kilometers from Valoria’s capital. The municipality covers roughly 38 square kilometers and has a population of around 12,400 as of 2023. The local government operates under a mayor-council system; the current mayor is Liora Nystrom.

Geography and climate

The area features rolling foothills and conifer forests. The climate is temperate, with cold winters and warm summers. A defining landmark is the Nydal Bridge, a stone-arch bridge dating to the 14th century that spans the river and connects the town’s two halves.

History
