SpliceContainern

SpliceContainern is a container-oriented framework intended to enable dynamic splicing of data streams and execution paths inside containerized deployments. It provides a runtime and API to connect multiple inputs—such as sensor streams, log channels, or microservice outputs—and fuse them into coherent outputs or workflows without rebuilding container images.

Core concepts include splice nodes, containment engines, and splice templates. Splice nodes run as lightweight processes or sidecars that merge, transform, or branch data and control flow. Containment engines enforce isolation, resource limits, and lifecycle management for each splice operation. Splice templates define reusable configurations for common splicing patterns, while a policy engine governs permissions, quotas, and quality-of-service rules. Adapters expose interfaces to message brokers, databases, file stores, and external APIs.

Implementation and compatibility: SpliceContainern is designed to work with OCI-compliant containers and can be integrated with orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or Docker Swarm via operators, controllers, or sidecars.
