Spironolakt

Spironolakt is a trade name for the medication spironolactone. Spironolactone is a medication primarily used as a diuretic, also known as a water pill. It belongs to a class of drugs called potassium-sparing diuretics. This means it helps the body get rid of excess salt and water, but it causes the kidneys to retain more potassium.

Medically, spironolactone is prescribed for a variety of conditions. It is commonly used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) and edema, which is swelling caused by excess fluid in the body's tissues.
