Soojendusküünlad

Soojendusküünlad, often translated as warming candles or heat-releasing candles, are a type of small, self-heating device. They are typically used to provide localized warmth for a limited duration. The principle behind their operation involves a chemical reaction that generates heat. Inside the candle, a combustible material, often a specially formulated charcoal or a mixture of chemical compounds, is designed to ignite or react exothermically when exposed to air or a small initiator.

The heat produced by this reaction is contained within a small casing, usually made of metal or a heat-resistant material. This allows the generated warmth to be directed towards a specific area, such as the hands or feet, without needing an external power source. Soojendusküünlad are commonly found in situations where prolonged exposure to cold is a concern, such as outdoor activities, sporting events, or emergency preparedness kits. Their portability and ease of use make them a convenient option for personal warmth.

The duration of heat output varies depending on the specific product and its formulation, but generally ranges from a few hours to several hours. Once the chemical reaction is complete, the candle is expended and can be disposed of.
