Snelklemmen
Snelklemmen, in Dutch, are quick-action clamps used to hold workpieces temporarily during activities such as assembly, gluing, drilling, or cutting. They are designed to apply clamping force rapidly without the need to turn screws for each adjustment. A typical snelklem comprises a rigid body, two jaws, and a handle or trigger that drives the movable jaw toward the fixed jaw. Releasing the handle or lever frees the workpiece. Many models allow quick release for fast removal, and the clamping pressure is adjustable by how far the handle is engaged.
Design and variants vary, but common types include lever-action clamps (one-handed operation) and trigger or spring-loaded
Applications and usage: snelklemmen are widely used in woodworking, metalworking, picture framing, model making, and general
Safety and care: ensure the clamp is fully engaged and square to the workpiece, keep fingers away
