Småvevstransplantasjoner, or microvascular tissue transplantation, refers to surgical techniques used to transfer tissue from one part of the body to another, or from a donor to a recipient, using microsurgical methods to reconnect blood vessels. This allows for the transfer of living tissue that requires a blood supply to survive in its new location. The term "småvev" directly translates to "small tissue" or "micro tissue," highlighting the precision involved in manipulating and reconnecting these tiny blood vessels.
