Siemensyksikkö

Siemensyksikkö, also known as the Siemens, is a unit of electrical conductance, named after the German inventor and industrialist Werner von Siemens. It is the reciprocal of the ohm, which is the unit of electrical resistance. One Siemens is equal to one ampere per volt, meaning that a conductor with a conductance of one Siemens will allow one ampere of current to flow when one volt of potential difference is applied across it.
