Sensorimotorset
Sensorimotorset, sometimes written as sensorimotor set, refers to a cognitive–motor state in which the sensory system and motor system are primed for efficient perception and action. In this view, perception is not passive; prior experience, expectations, and task demands bias sensory analyses toward information relevant for upcoming actions, while motor plans prepare specific responses.
Mechanisms underlying sensorimotorset involve learning, attention, arousal, and context. Neural activity in sensorimotor networks, including premotor
