Sebességszabályozók

Sebességszabályozók, often translated as speed regulators or governors, are devices designed to maintain a consistent speed of an engine or machine regardless of load variations. These devices are crucial in many applications where a stable operating speed is essential for proper function, efficiency, or safety.

The fundamental principle behind most sebességszabályozók involves a mechanism that senses the rotational speed and adjusts an input to counteract any deviations. When the load on the engine increases, the speed tends to drop. The sebességszabályozó detects this decrease and increases the fuel supply or power input to the engine, thereby restoring the speed to its set point. Conversely, if the load decreases, the speed will rise, and the sebességszabályozó will reduce the fuel or power input to prevent over-speeding.

Common types of sebességszabályozók include mechanical governors, which utilize centrifugal force from spinning weights, and electronic governors, which employ sensors and microprocessors to monitor speed and control actuators.
