Sany Group, commonly known as Sany, is a Chinese multinational corporation that designs, manufactures, and sells construction equipment. Headquartered in Changsha, Hunan Province, it operates across segments including concrete machinery (pumps, mixers, batching plants), excavators, cranes, road machinery, and tunneling equipment. Sany markets its products worldwide through subsidiaries, joint ventures, and an extensive service network.

Founded in 1989 by Liang Wengen as a small workshop making concrete pumps, Sany rapidly expanded into additional heavy equipment lines. The company established manufacturing facilities across China and progressively pursued international expansion, creating plants and sales offices abroad and building a global distribution network.

A pivotal development came with the 2012 acquisition of Putzmeister, a German concrete machinery manufacturer, which broadened Sany’s European footprint and product capabilities.
