SFSmerkinnät refers to markings used to indicate conformity with standards published by the Finnish Standards Association (SFS). The term is used in Finland to signal that a product, process, or service adheres to SFS standards, which may be national, European (EN), or international (ISO) standards adopted in Finland.

These markings appear on stacked elements such as products, packaging, labels, and accompanying technical documentation. They are commonly encountered in fields like construction, electrical equipment, mechanical engineering, and consumer goods, where standardization plays a key role in ensuring safety, interoperability, and quality.

Conformity assessment is typically required before the SFSmark can be applied. This process may involve testing, inspection, and certification carried out by accredited laboratories or certification bodies. Once compliance is demonstrated, the mark may be affixed to the product or its packaging, and supporting documentation is maintained to prove ongoing adherence to the relevant standard.
