SDN48

SDN48 was a Japanese idol girl group produced by Yasushi Akimoto. The group was a sister group to the well-known AKB48. SDN48's concept was "idols you can meet," distinguishing itself from its sister group by featuring older members, typically those over 20 years old, and often performing more mature and risqué content.

The group officially debuted in August 2009 with their first single, "Gagaga." Their music and performances often incorporated themes of love, heartbreak, and adult relationships, setting them apart from the more innocent image commonly associated with other idol groups. SDN48 held regular theater performances at the Nippon Seinenkan in Tokyo.

Over its lifespan, SDN48 underwent several graduations and additions of members. The group released a total of five singles and one album. In late 2011, it was announced that SDN48 would disband. Their final concert, titled "NEXT ENCORE," took place on March 31, 2012, marking the end of their activities. The disbandment was framed as the members graduating to pursue individual careers.
