Süsinikkiudkomposiit, often referred to as carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) or simply carbon fiber, is a composite material composed of strong, stiff carbon fibers embedded in a polymer matrix. The carbon fibers provide the material with its exceptional strength and stiffness, while the polymer matrix binds the fibers together and protects them from damage. This combination results in a material that is significantly lighter yet stronger than many traditional materials like steel or aluminum.
