Südhessisch
Südhessisch, or South Hessian, is a group of German dialects spoken in the southern part of the German state of Hesse and in adjacent regions. It belongs to the West Central German language area, within the Rhine Franconian branch, and is closely related to other Hessian varieties and to Palatine German. Rather than a single uniform language, Südhessisch comprises several subdialects with local features.
