Röhrenheizung
Röhrenheizung, often translated as tubular heating or simply element heating, refers to a type of electric resistance heating element. It consists of a resistance wire, typically made of a nickel-chromium alloy, enclosed within a metal tube, usually stainless steel or incoloy. This resistance wire is insulated from the tube by a compacted magnesium oxide powder, which acts as an excellent electrical insulator and thermal conductor.
The tubular heating element operates on the principle of resistive heating. When an electric current passes
