Rupit

Rupit i Pujalt, commonly referred to as Rupit, is a municipality in the province of Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. It is part of the comarca of Osona. The municipality includes the village of Rupit and the small settlement of Pujalt. It lies in a hilly, forested area of northern Osona, near the Guilleries mountain range, and is known for its scenic landscapes and well-preserved rural architecture.

Rupit village sits on a hillside above the Rupit River. Its historic center features narrow cobblestone streets, stone houses with wooden balconies, and a traditional Catalan urban layout, reflecting its medieval origins. The nearby natural surroundings offer hiking trails and views of the surrounding countryside.
