Rocko

Rocko is a fictional wallaby and the protagonist of the Nickelodeon animated television series Rocko's Modern Life. Created by Joe Murray, Rocko first appeared on the show, which aired from 1993 to 1996. Rocko is an Australian immigrant living in the fictional American town of O-Town. He works in a comic book store called "Chewy's," but frequently finds himself navigating the absurdities and social commentary embedded within his everyday life.

Rocko is characterized by his generally good-natured, albeit often naive, personality. He is a loyal friend to his companions, including the neurotic steer Heffer Wolfe and the amnesiac, green turtle Filburt. The series often uses Rocko's experiences to satirize various aspects of modern society, such as consumerism, television, and social etiquette, presented through a surreal and often adult-oriented lens.

Despite his innocent demeanor, Rocko is frequently thrust into chaotic situations due to the eccentricities of his friends and the world around him. His existence in O-Town is a constant struggle for normalcy amidst a barrage of bizarre events and characters, including his demanding boss Mr. Bighead and his elephant neighbor Mrs. Bighead. Rocko's Modern Life gained a cult following for its unique humor, sophisticated writing, and willingness to tackle mature themes within a children's cartoon format.
