It requires information about substances used in products, especially substances of very high concern (SVHC). For articles, suppliers must provide safety information to downstream users, and certain substances must not be used or must receive authorization. REACH emphasizes chain-of-custody data, material safety data sheets, and ongoing monitoring of SVHC lists.

In practice, RoHSREACHKonformität involves careful bill of materials management, supplier declarations, testing where required, and proper documentation such as declarations of conformity and safety data sheets.
