Ringjoonelised, also known as ring-jointed or ring-sealed, refers to a method of connecting and sealing pipes, particularly in industrial and plumbing applications. This technique involves using specialized pipe fittings and joints designed to create a secure, leak-proof connection between sections of piping. The term is commonly associated with high-pressure systems, such as those found in oil and gas pipelines, chemical processing, or steam distribution networks.

The process typically relies on a ring-joint gasket, which is a split ring made of materials like carbon steel, stainless steel, or non-metallic compounds like graphite or elastomers. These gaskets are placed in a groove on the face of the pipe flange or fitting. When the two halves of the joint are tightened, the gasket compresses, creating a seal that prevents fluid leakage while accommodating slight misalignments or thermal expansion.

Ringjoonelised connections are favored in environments where high temperatures, pressures, or corrosive substances are present due to their durability and reliability.
