Reprotoxicants

Reprotoxicants are substances that can cause harm or disruptions to the reproductive processes of organisms, including humans, animals, and plants. These substances can interfere with various stages of reproduction, including conception, embryonic development, and fetal growth. Reprotoxicants can be found in a wide range of environments, including the workplace, homes, and communities, and can enter the body through various routes, such as inhalation, ingestion, and skin contact.

Synthetic and naturally occurring chemicals are among the known reprotoxicants. These chemicals can be produced intentionally, as in the case of pesticides and heavy metals, or unintentionally, such as through industrial processes or waste disposal.
