Regularisierer
Regularisierer is a German term that refers to a mechanical device used in textile and paper manufacturing processes to regulate tension, straighten fibers, and ensure uniformity before subsequent manufacturing steps. In weaving, the Regularisierer is typically positioned between the warp set-up and the loom. After the warp yarns are wound on the warping beam and passed through the drawing frame, they enter the Regularisierer. The device uses a series of rollers and a flat, gently hardened plate to relieve slack and correct irregularities in yarn alignment. By applying a controlled amount of mechanical pressure, it eliminates noticeable waviness and reduces the risk of thread breaks or fabric defects during weaving.
