Radiomoduler is a term that refers to a modular radio system, where different components or modules can be combined to create a radio transceiver or receiver for specific applications. These modules typically handle distinct functions such as signal generation, amplification, modulation, demodulation, and filtering. The modular approach allows for flexibility, enabling users to customize radio hardware for various purposes, from amateur radio to specialized scientific instruments and commercial communication systems.

The concept of radio modules is not new, but advances in miniaturization and digital signal processing have led to increasingly sophisticated and compact modules. These can be based on analog circuits or incorporate digital components for greater programmability and performance.
