Racewalking
Racewalking is a athletic event that combines aspects of walking and running. It is governed by strict rules designed to differentiate it from running. The primary rule is that the athlete's leading leg must be straightened from the moment of first contact with the ground until the vertical position. Additionally, one foot must always be in contact with the ground. This means a racewalker cannot have both feet off the ground simultaneously, as a runner does during their stride.
Racewalking events are contested over various distances, with common distances including 20 kilometers and 50 kilometers
