QuellIP
QuellIP is a privacy-focused networking protocol and software ecosystem designed to reduce exposure of client IP addresses during internet communication. It achieves this by routing user traffic through a distributed network of volunteer nodes that perform layered, onion-like encryption, so that no single node can easily identify the origin and destination of the traffic. QuellIP is designed to be interoperable with existing IP-based applications while providing stronger privacy properties for both IPv4 and IPv6 traffic.
QuellIP was proposed in 2023 by the QuellIP Initiative as an open standard and reference implementation. The
The technical model centers on multi-hop circuits and encryption layers. Traffic is wrapped in successive encryption
Adoption has been gradual, with experimental deployments in privacy-focused browsers and research networks. Some operating systems
