Qonunchilik

Qonunchilik is the body of laws that governs a state and the process by which those laws are created. In many contexts it denotes the system of legislation—statutes, codes, and regulatory acts—that regulate public life, protect rights, and organize political and social life.

The authority for qonunchilik typically rests in the constitution, which sets the framework for state power and fundamental rights. Legal acts include statutes passed by the legislature, decrees or orders issued by the executive, and regulations issued by administrative bodies. International law and customary practices may also influence qonunchilik, especially when treaties bind the state. Judicial decisions can interpret and clarify laws, shaping how they are applied in practice.
